The United Way of Massachusetts Bay has selected Good Sports to manage the distribution of over $1 million dollars worth of sports equipment in Massachusetts in the next two years. The UWMB approached the BYSI about providing funding to build Good Sports capacity to deliver this incredible initiative, assuring that a significant portion of the equipment is designated for Boston programs. Good Sports in an entrepreneurial non-profit organization that helps make sports and fitness equipment accessible to young people in Massachusetts. It is their mission to increase the participation of urban youth in sports, fitness, and recreational programs by providing essential equipment, footwear, and apparel. |
